Jacob's Kindergarten Graduation

We were invited to Jacob's Kindergarten graduation. First, they played their tambourines and sang us some songs.

Jacob got a "Best Artist Award" from Mrs. Richards, his teacher.
Great job Jacob!

Here is Jacob's Kindergarten class.

Mrs. Richards is an outstanding teacher! We were very fortunate that both Jacob and Emily had her as their teacher in Kindergarten.

Cute pose--cute boy!

Ashley Sitting Up (5 mos. old)

There's our big girl, who is sitting up now!

Akira always sits by the baby, even if she pulls her hair. What a good dog!

We Love Our Baby!

Ashley was fine and in a good mood when it was just Jared holding her.

And then...

As soon as both boys got a hold of her she started to squirm.

I told the boys to kiss her cheeks...

...and she did not like it!

Thermopolis - Day 2

Ryan and the kids swimming indoor at one of the pools. It's nice because the water is nice and warm! It comes from natural hot springs.

The kids with their floaties.

After we swam inside for a while we went to the pool outside. We let the kids slide down the little water slides. They had so much fun! There is also a high diving board and I told Ryan that if he jumped off, then I would too. I remember as a teenager jumping off the high dive, going bridge jumping into the water, and I went bungee jumping one time. I thought, no problem...until I got up there! Ryan did it and made it look so easy! It had been so many years that when I got up there I could not jump! I'd say, at least, five minutes went by and no matter how much encouraging I got, it was not working. I finally did jump, but it was after everyone in the whole pool and the life guard were chanting, "Jump, jump, jump...". I laugh out loud today when I think about it. How embarrassing!

After an afternoon of swimming for the first time, Ashley fell asleep.

This was in one of the playgrounds there in the Hot Springs State Park.

It is beautiful red rock country. If you drive up past the hot spring pools you get to see buffalo. The kids liked being able to see them so close.

Thermopolis - Day 1

Ryan and I took the kids for the weekend to Thermopolis, WY. Jared was eating pretzels on the way down and he kept putting them in between his toes and then eating them from there. Looks gross but it was funny and cute to watch!

The kids posed by some of the dinosaur statues.

This is cute of the kids. I don't look so good, but don't forget I just had a baby a few months ago!

Playing with Abby

The boys like playing with our new puppy!

Russell came over to play today.

Look at those three--are they all cute or what!
(Russell age 3, Jacob age 4, Jared age 2)

Ryan's New Pup

Ryan got a new Deutsch Drahthaar pup. He got her from his friend and her name is Abby. She is five months old and very playful! She's our fourth dog but we've never had a puppy before. It's worked out that we've only gotten dogs that are a few years old. This is a whole new experience!

She is as big as Akira at five months old. Akira is six years old. They actually do like playing together. I think Akira likes playing with someone her size. We have two other big dogs.

The kids like having a pup for the first time, even though she's big.

She's fun and playful!

The Nurses Graduate!

Husband and wife, Brandon and Amber Mangus (Ryan's little brother) both graduated from the nursing program at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, WY on the same day! Great job guys!

We all went to Laramie for their graduation. Afterwards we went and ate and swam at the rec center and had a good time!

It was a long drive home without our movie player so the kids had to get creative!

Emily's School Program

This is Emily's end of the year school program. It's the end of her first grade year with Mrs. Townsend. She did great!

Cute little girl!

Ashley

Just Ashley being cute!

Brown Eyed Boy

Love those big brown eyes!

Bubble Boy!

Jared was taking a bubble bath and was relaxing in the bubbles!
